Josh, Jack & Jonas' hands
Adorable feet.
Josh, Jonas and My hand
There is no easy way to say this, but I wanted to let you all know that our little boy died on June 11th, the day before my due date. I did not feel him move for a few hours. I went to the hospital to get checked and he had no heartbeat. I delivered him June 11th at 6:37pm. He was 8 lbs 13oz and we named him Jonas Brett. He was adorable, looked exactly like Jackson with pitch black hair. What hurts the most is Jackson wanted his little brother so bad.
We feel the love of our Savior and Heavenly Father and we know the only way we will be able to get through this pain is by having faith in the atonement. We know we will see Jonas again and that he is watching over us now. I will be honest though I would do anything to have him in my arms right now. I miss him more than you can imagine. I pray multiple times a day that I can feel him around me.
I love you Jonas.

Your post is beautiful. The pictures, the words, everything. I am sorry again to hear for your loss. Best wishes are sent from ours to yours.
we love you guys. the pictures are so special. we are thinking of and praying for you guys.
I just saw your post on the faces of loss blog and had to come make a comment. Your loss is so recent.
I guess I just feel a connection because you sound LDS, and I am too. I lost my sweet Cora at 38 weeks nearly four years ago (her story is actually a few entries down from yours). I just wanted to let you know that there is peace to be had. That through the Savior you can learn to live through this until you get to the day when he is in your arms again.
(((many hugs)))

Hi, Jen -
My name is Courtney, and my husband and I lost our first baby boy at 41 weeks on May of 2009. As I'm sure you know by now, there's nothing anyone can say to lessen the pain of having to say goodbye to your child. But I wanted you to know that I'm praying for you. Blessings -
I just read your story over at Faces of Loss Faces of Hope in tears. I'm so sorry for your loss. We also lost our daughter she was stillborn at 26 1/2 weeks gestation. She had trisomy 18. We have a 3 year old son as well and seeing him lose his sister was one of the hardest parts for me as well. I wish there were words that would take the pain away. Hugs <3 Jonas <3
Jen, I read your story and I am so sorry! Love you! I will add your blog to mine to keep in touch. :)
Hey, I just popped over here from the Faces of Loss blog. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying that the peace which passes all understanding will surround you and your family right now. It's been 6 months since we lost our daughter, and His peace is the only thing that keeps us going. Love and prayers to you.
I'm so sorry for your loss! My husband and I lost our first baby three days before her due date. It's been five years. I still think about her daily and miss watching her grow. Gentle hugs to you and your family.
BTW, I found your blog through a google search of crumb cookie paint. I'm thinking of painting our kitchen cabinets that color. Love the way your kitchen turned out!
